ankazar [< an-, "diminutive" + kazar, "sword".] A shortsword, worn at the left hip, weighing 7 pounds, costing 30 florins, four feet long.
birbor - A horn, a trumpet.
borgek - Another word for the orsuk.
bornel - A castle, a town so fortified.
burs - Bronze, mercenary.
dar [< darlek, "citidel".] A king.
darlek - A citadel, capital of a kingdom.
dars - A company of men, a band of warriors.
durdek - The northern country.
durdekors [< durdek, "northern country".] The language of the northern country.
gor - A thrusting spear, not used to parry or throw, 5 feet long, carried at hand, weighing 5 pounds, costing 20 florins.
gorsan [< gor, "spear" + san, "peasant".] A spearman [9], carrying a gor and an angor, wearing leather armor and carrying a small shield (no helmet).
hir - Hair, hairy.
hirsuk [< hir, "hairy" + suk, "monster".] An amphibious suk that lives in underwater lairs and has thick matted body hair and a tough hide.
kalis - Blessed, magical.
kaliskazar [< kalis, "blessed" + kazar, "sword".] A magical sword especially blessed to slay a svogak.
kalisman [< kalis, "blessed" + man, "object".] A magic heirloom.
karrak [Onomatopoeia.] A flock of crows (properly called a murder of crows) that attacks humans.
karrakbirbor [< karrak, "flock of crows" + birbor, "horn".] A horn that summons a karrak, which feeds on any morsuk present (or, if none are present, any humans present).
kazar - A sword.
kazartuk [< kazar, "sword" + tuk, "warrior".] A swordsman, wielding, an ankazar, a gor and an angor, wearing padded leather armor, with a leather helmet, and a large round shield.
kvanal - Copper.
lirel - A mirror.
lirelrarp [< lirel, "mirror" + rarp, "shield".] A shield with the surface of a mirror, reflecting the attacker; with a detailed enough reflection to make the orsuk flee in terror.
lurnam - Silver.
man - Object, thing.
mar- - Augmentative.
margor [< mar-, "augmentative" + gor, "spear".] A long spear, like the gor, but 6 feet long weighing 6 pounds.
marsolan [< mar-, "augmentative" + solan, "gold".] A gold piece, largest currency in use.
martuk [< mar-, "augmentative" + tuk, "warrior".] A warrior, wielding a markazar, a dagger, and an angor, wearing a mail corselet, a nasal helmet and bearing a large round shield.
mor - Death.
mord [< mordar, "tomb".] A line of barrows or burial mounds.
mordar [< mor, "dead" + dar, "king".] A huge stone tomb, holding an entire royal family or line.
morsuk [< mor, "dead" + suk, "monster".] The animated corpse of a human (typically) or suk (rarely).
mos - Kidneys, bravery, volunteer.
mosek - A keep, a fortified town.
mumbus - A magic talisman that can change a karrak into a flock of songbirds.
murt - Town.
or- - Super-augmentative.
orsuk [< or-, "super-augmentative" + suk, "monster".] An almost-human suk of giant stature, with sharp teeth and a broken, ugly face.
rarn - Stone.
rarnsuk [< rarn-, "stone" + suk, "monster".] A type of suk that turns into stone when caught in the daylight.
rarp - Shield.
rendol - A magic pole-arm designed to tear the arms off hirsuk.
rork - Military rations.
san - A peasant.
sas - To haggle.
sasmurt [< sas, "haggle" + murt, "town".] A market town, a bazaar.
senol - Sun.
senolrarp [< senol, "sun" + rarp, "shield".] A magical shield that breaks into a blinding, illuminating light, turning any rarnsuk present into stone.
solan - Gold.
suk - A giant, manlike monster.
svogak - A serpentine, flying, fire-breathing dragon.
tuk - A man (of the warrior class).
